I'll remember this day like it happened yesterday. I was waiting for Deeco to get home so we could go to our favorite Mexican restaurant. It had been a long day, & we were ready for our 2 for 1 Margaritas. Something told me to take a pregnancy test. Deeco and I had been trying for over 7 months. Everytime my first response was "I know I'm pregnant this time." Deeco's biggest joke was "Fallon's going to make me go broke before we can even have a baby with all these pregnancy test". I used to laugh, but proceeded to take a test every time. I called him and asked him to please pick up a test on the way home. He insisted that it wasn't necessary and he didn't want me to get upset again over a negative result. He had already made up his mind that we needed to see a doctor, we just didn't understand why it was not working. I begged him and of course he came home with the test.

I can remember taking the test and the two of us hovering over the stick waiting on the result. As one line started to appear the next one was coming in faintly. We looked at each other and held each other tight as we cried tears of joy!
We were so frantic we ran to the car as fast as we could, We needed to be positive before we announced it to everyone. This time we needed a digital test, we raced to Walgreen's across town. As we stood in line, we were so antsy to pay and get out of there! Just our luck, the gentleman in front of us couldn't find a charger that would work in his car. We waited as he tried every one they had in his car. As soon as we paid, we ran to the car like little kids, laughing and overwhelmed with joy. I can remember driving home and Deeco saying "This is the longest car ride of my life." Little did he know, this was just the beginning of long waits and anxious feelings.
As we scrambled to get the box open, I chugged two bottles of water. Another wait that felt like forever , but as we both looked down at the count of 1-2-3.... The test read "PREGNANT".
I could never explain in words, the excitement and love we felt at that time. Tears of joy flowed down our faces and never had we held eachother so tight. Not only was I starting a dream I've always looked forward to , but I was beginning my fairy tale with My Prince Charming.
The next day I spent looking for a Doctor. I scheduled to see the doctor 2 days later. Little did we know we were about to start a road of hardships, struggles, heartbreak and fear that lead me to a miracle that I can say, Saved my life.
